The Rogue Prince of Persia is a 2D roguelike platform game developed by Evil Empire and published by Ubisoft. In this fast-paced game, the unnamed Prince uses acrobatic parkour moves—like wall running, wall jumping, and swinging—to navigate procedurally generated levels. Players engage in fluid melee and ranged combat, equipping primary and secondary weapons that can be upgraded using collected Medallions. The game features a time-travel mechanic allowing the Prince to avoid permanent death and return to a hub area called "The Oasis" to restock and upgrade. Set in the city of Ctesiphon, the Prince must prevent an army of possessed Hun soldiers from destroying the city after provoking their chief, Nogai.

The game emphasizes challenging yet accessible gameplay, combining fast traversal and acrobatic combat with roguelike elements such as procedural generation, permanent unlockables, and a strong narrative involving finding the Prince's missing family amidst the Hun invasion.
